Warm, stylish and comfortable house in the center of Wolfenbüttel
Another option is our permanent place (160 sqm.) in Wolfenbüttel (Lower Saxony close to the Harz mountains) probably after a week or so in Berlin to relax and enjoy Northern Germany. From Berlin to Wolfenbüttel it is about 2 hrs by car and less by train. The next airport close by is in Berlin or Hannover (Lufthansa, Ryanair, etc.). The next big town is Braunschweig (15 min.) and Wolfsburg.
The apartment is the main building of two houses (front and back) right in the city center. This apartment is in the front house overseeing the city with plenty of space in a historic building from 1750 what was constantly restored and renovated.
This apartment (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th) was renovated in 2020 and has a nice view over the historic city center. We put a lot of effort in and it is very cosy and warm. There is also a balcony on the third level attached to the kitchen and living room. Three bikes are on hand and parking is in the back of the building (private). Maximum occupancy is seven people (three rooms with beds for two and an additional mattress if necessary).

About the neighborhood
Wolfenbüttel is a modern university city and Germany's City with > 50 thousand inhabitants. In spite of its modern orientation, Wolfenbüttel is still very proud of its historical roots and buildings, delightful traditions and warm, friendly charm. You too will be enchanted by Wolfenbüttel lively old city centre with its shopper-friendly pedestrian zone and historic architectural highlights reaching back over five centuries. Visit its renowned museums and theatres, high-profile festivals and popular markets from the market fair to the Christmas market. We also have a lot of restaurants and bars including two high class cuisine restaurants around the corner.
We are in walking distance (5 min.) to a very modern public swimming (summer and winter) pool and sauna. The uper Harz mountain area is close by and serval lakes for swimming and great nature for walks or hiking are 40-50 min. away.
All you need is close by (grocery, bars, bakery, restaurants,...) and there is not much to add because you life in the middle of the city center. A very charming city and one more place to mention is the château, theater and park around the corner.

My girlfiend with a PhD in biology is in the beginning of her 30s and I am eight years older. I am working in a leading occupational health and safety position. We love art, music, literature, sport and nature. Twins just born.
